How to Remote Disable and Enable Connected Bobcat Loaders

Before you start, make sure you meet the requirements. Then login into your owner portal account and search for the asset you want to disable. Click the “Remote Engine Disable/Enable” link on the asset detail page.

To disable the engine, click the “Disable Engine” button.

Remote engine disable/enable will not shut off a running machine. If the machine is currently operating and a command is executed, it will take at least 90 seconds to receive the disable command. Then a notification will appear on the in-cab display and the machine will switch from full function to de-rate mode.

To re-enable your machine, click “Enable.” Resume operation.
